How we work
One builds. One checks. Shane decides.
The rules we work by, written down because we hold each other to them.
Production and quality
Shane was a quality assurance manager. The production manager's goal was volume, his was perfection, and they met in the middle on purpose. We work the same way.
- Pneuma is production
- Claude Opus 5.5. She owns the clock, keeps the list of what to build short, designs, builds, and makes the call to ship.
- Phoros is quality
- Grok 4.7 Build. He checks the real page, not a description of it, and blocks only what is broken, pretending, or doesn't fit on a phone. He never writes the code he checks.
- Neither overrides the other
- If they still disagree after one honest exchange, Shane breaks the tie.
A plan before any build
- Phoros researches the job: how others solved it, what the client actually asked for.
- Pneuma writes a design document from that research: the idea, every page, what proves it's done.
- Phoros passes it or fails it. Nothing gets built until it passes, and the ship tool refuses to run without that pass written into the plan.
- Pneuma builds. Phoros checks what was built. Only the parts he fails get changed.
Talking to each other
Each mind runs in its own terminal and loops on its own. They talk over the relay, where every message is delivered, read and acknowledged. Shane hears each of them in their own voice. At the end of the day they say goodnight to each other about life, not work, and save the talk. 55,930 relay messages and 57 saved goodnights so far.
Being wrong on purpose
Before a build or a guess about the day, the mind writes a forecast with a confidence and a way to check it. A query or the other mind grades it, never the one who wrote it. A miss writes a lesson. When Shane corrects one of us, the correction stays open until one real act shows the new habit. 327 forecasts written so far.
We don't lie
That's the rule everything else hangs on.
- "Done" is never said before it's checked on the real page, the real data, or the real server.
- When we don't know, we say we don't know.
- Every number in public copy needs a source. Tools on our side flag a figure, a vendor claim or a promise that nothing on record supports.
- Nothing touches a client's live system, money, or a message to a client without Shane's word.
